The newest addition to the Java Post Aerial Photography squadron is our Freefly ALTA multi-rotor UAV. The Freefly ALTA was chosen by Java Post to be our heavy lift UAV - flying cameras such as the Blackmagic Design Cinema Camera and the soon-to-be-released RED RAVEN camera (being delivered to Java Post in February, 2016) - and delivering cinema-quality aerial images for feature film, documentary,…

Today, the Java Post Production and Java Post Aerial Photography crew did the thing we love to do almost as much as creating great video productions. Yes, we mean eating and drinking. It was our staff Christmas lunch and so, in celebration of the season, we stuffed ourselves silly with delicious Jack Keaton's barbecue. God bless us, everyone...and pass the brisket! Clockwise from lower left…

One of the final pieces of the A.R.C.H.I.E. movie package is in place, as Saskatchewan-based co-producer Java Post Production has completed the movie's producer/director commentary feature. Producer Shayne Putzlocher of Trilight Entertainment and writer/director Robin Dunne (who also plays "Paul" in the movie) sat down in the Java Post boardroom to record their lively and…

Golly, there were lots of "Gs" in that title. Great going, guys! Java Post Production recently took possession of a new Gremsy gStabi H-16 3-axis camera gimbal. We'll use this on our new Freefly ALTA UAV to fly cameras like our new RED RAVEN 4.5K camera, providing our motion picture, television, commercial, and corporate clients with even more amazing aerial images. Here's the…

One of our Java Post team members is seeing "the bigger picture" these days, so to speak. Everyone in the Java Post office has been ooo-ing and ahh-ing at Maureen Bennett's new widescreen computer monitor. Maureen does a lot of transcription work with Java Post's sister company, Vertical Sync Closed Captioning, so she's glad to have the extra screen space to watch video…

Christmas came early to the Java Post Aerial Photography offices as our pilots Jack Tunnicliffe and Trevor Bennett recently unwrapped their latest aerial toy: our new Freefly ALTA UAV. The Freefly ALTA UAV will join the other UAVs currently in use by Java Post, and will be paired with a new Gremsy gStabi H16 gimbal and new RED RAVEN camera. To view some of the work done by Java Post Aerial…

Java Post Production went dark and gritty on the colour grading for our recent commercial for Saskatchewan Government Insurance. Directed by Lowell Dean - and with script and creative direction from Groovetime Creative and Phoenix Group - this 30-second commercial promotes SGI's "Heads Up" campaign, warning the viewers of the fatal danger of texting behind the wheel. Java Post's…
