Java Post Production congratulates our friends (below L to R) Virgina Thompson, Brent Butt, Tara Spencer-Nairn, Eric Peterson, and David Storey, as they accepted the Academy of Canadian Cinema & Television Golden Screen Award for Corner Gas: The Movie.
Java Post Production was proud to be the local producer for the Saskatchewan-based feature film, as well as providing aerial photography, digital visual effects and colour grading for the project.
The Academy of Canadian Cinema & Television Golden Screen Award was presented to the most-watched TV program at the Canadian Screen Awards on March 13, 2016. The finalists are the five top-rated programs for the 2014-2015 broadcast year, based on data from Numeris. The finalists in the category for top series, limited series or TV movie were: CTV's "Corner Gas: The Movie,", CTV's "Saving Hope," CBC's "Murdoch Mysteries," Global's "Rookie Blue," and CBC's "The Book of Negroes."
