We're "Kraken" open the shipping boxes on our new UAV.

As you probably read in a very recent news post (and if you haven't, you should), we were anxiously awaiting the arrival of our new K130 "Kraken" 8-rotor UAV (unmanned aerial vehicle, although everyone seems to call anything that doesn't have a pilot seat on it a "drone.")
Well, the boxes arrived in the office and our technician, Trevor Bennett, has been "kraken" open the boxes and has begun the assembly process. Judging by all the various bits and pieces, this initial post-shipping reassembly might be more than a 5 minute task. But Trevor is very good at these things, which is why we let him do it.
This unit is a lot larger than our current 6-rotor Javacopter. More powerful, as well. An impressive tool to do impressive work. Can't wait to get it in the air!
In this folded-up configuration, the main body of the Kraken looks like Darth Vader's coffee table.
And here are some of the many boxes and parts that require assembly. This should keep Trevor out of trouble for the next couple of days.
