We Got That B-Roll!

This was too hilarious not to share.
As anyone who has ever worked in the television news, documentary or commercial business can tell you, "B-Roll" is the term for video footage that typically appears over a narrator's voice. It's not a spokesperson or interview subject speaking on camera. That's called A-Roll. B-Roll is all the other stuff.
For example, when a reporter is doing a story on, say, obesity, and you hear the reporter's voice while they show footage of people eating french fries at the mall - that's B-Roll. When they do a documentary program on ducks and you hear the announcer's voice while you see video of ducks swimming in a pond - that's B-Roll, too.
Well, all that B-Roll has to come from somewhere. And now we know where.
