Using 4K Ultra HD in an HD Format Won't Fix Bad Acting.

With the help of Java Post staff members Joan Speirs and Kevin Drysdale, we recently whipped up a quick, short demo for a client, demonstrating how shooting with our Blackmagic 4K Ultra HD camera allows you to push into the footage within a 1920 x 1080 HD frame.
The Blackmagic camera 4K Ultra HD image is 3840 x 2160, so, when you get back into the edit suite, there's lots of extra room to zoom in or move around in the standard 1920 x 1080 HD frame.
We show the 4K Ultra HD footage at 50% of its original size, then at 100%, then at 175%, and then back to 50%.
But it won't fix bad acting.
