For today's #ThrowbackThursday post, we set the way-back machine to the early 1990s. A time when Canadians first heard of a Goods and Services Tax (GST)...when Operation Desert Storm invaded Kuwait...and when serial killer and cannibal Jeffrey Dahmer was arrested.

Of course, there were also some bad things that happened in the early 90s.

Such as the dreaded "man-perm" and gigantic glasses worn back then by our boss - "Java Jack" Tunnicliffe - seen here in this promotional photo. But let's admit it, guys. If you lived through the early 90s, chances are you probably had a "man-perm," too. Or gigantic glasses. Or both. There was no avoiding it. It was the style at the time.

Mind you, you gotta love the popped collar on the leather jacket. Cool in any decade.

Jack Tunnicliffe...modern-day post-production wizard and possible 1990s Sears catalogue model. Thanks to a pure heart, clean living, and copious amounts of caffeine, Jack still looks this young (minus the man-perm and giant glasses, of course). But settle down, ladies, he's taken.
