Throwback Thursday: Two Good Friends, Then and Now.
Topics:
For Throwback Thursday today, we send a "then and now" salute to two great friends and partners: Clark Donnelly and Jack Tunnicliffe.
Back in the 1970s and 80s, Clark and Jack worked together in the creative services department of CKCK-TV in Regina, Saskatchewan (now CTV Regina). Known at the time by various names (Harvard Productions, SunSpirit Productions), the CKCK-TV creative services department produced many television commercial campaigns for businesses and corporations across the province, as well as producing national network programs, such as the children's show Puttnam's Prairie Emporium.
In 1989, Jack and Clark left CKCK-TV to start their own independent production company, called Film Crew. That company grew and diversified into Westwind Pictures (Little Mosque on the Prairie, Designer Guys, This Small Space, and many more), and our own companies, Java Post Production and Java Post Aerial Photography.
Although now based at Westwind Picture's headquarters in Toronto, Clark is back in Regina for a few days, working side-by-side again with Jack on the pilot of a new project that needs a little of that special Java Post Production magic.
It just goes to show that, even after (mumble-cough) years, good friends and good partners never change.
Which is more than we can say for eyeglass styles.
