Java Post Production is providing colour correction, mastering, and final deliverables for the Minds Eye Entertainment sci-fi thriller The Recall, starring Wesley Snipes, which just announced a strong debut at the American Film Market (AFM).
Along with Wesley Snipes, the film stars R.J. Mitte (Breaking Bad) and follows a group of five friends vacationing at a cabin while aliens attack Earth.
Mauro Borrelli directs a script by Reggie Keyonhara III and Sam Acton King. The director of photography is Mark Dobrescu, from Saskatchewan.
Vantage Media International is offering the film internationally and has struck deals with Signature Entertainment (United Kingdom), Falcom (Germany), Minerva Pictures (Italy), New Select (Japan), Inopia Films (Spain), Phoenicia Pictures (Middle East), California Films (Latin America), Jaye Entertainment (South Korea), Sinema TV (Turkey), Daro Films (Africa), and SPI (Easter Europe). Minds Eye International holds the film's North American rights.
The Recall was shot for the new Barco Escape, three-screen, panoramic theatrical format, which fully surrounds audiences and offers the ultimate immersive cinema experience. Portions of the film were also shot in Virtual Reality.
