The "Enhance Video" Cliché Mash-Up.

If you've ever watched a detective movie or a police show or anything like that, you've probably witnessed a scene inside a forensic laboratory or government surveillance office where someone is looking at some security camera footage and says that cliché line: "Zoom in and enhance that."
It's a Hollywood cliché invented by screenwriters who think it's a cool plot device. However, speaking on behalf of people who work with video all the time, let's just say that those scenes drive us crazy. It wouldn't be so bad if the "enhance video" line was used sparingly. But, as this video mash-up reminds us, it's used all...the...time.
