There's an old joke that suggests that one of the great things about Southern Saskatchewan is that there aren't any pesky mountains to get in the way of the scenery.
For many of us who were raised in the prairies, those wide open skies and endless rural vistas are part of who we are, even if we may be several generations removed from actual rural life.
And, like a hawk soaring in the summer sky, the Java Post Javacopter took to the air to record these tranquil scenes of rural Southern Saskatchewan.
