Saskatchewan Roughrider Radio Sitcom Kickstarter Program - Deadline Feb. 20th.

Our pal Jarrett Rusnak at Dacian Productions, in conjunction with Harvard Broadcasting, is launching a new radio comedy series about the fans of the Saskatchewan Roughriders, called The Riderville Radio Sitcom.
Each half-hour episode takes place during a famous game in Roughrider history from 1928 to 2013. Stories will centre around a group of fans at each game, being forced to deal with any variety of commotion around them.
The program's Kickstarter page offers Rider fans a unique opportunity to be part of the production. Nearly 60 characters will be created over the ten half-hour episodes, and, for a certain level of donation, fans can have characters in the shows modelled after themselves or someone they love.
"It's a great way to honour a grandparent for an episode that takes place in 1948," says series creator Rusnak, "or you can put yourself in the stands for the 1966 Grey Cup."
The deadline for the Kickstarter offer is February 20th. The Riderville Radio Sitcom will premiere on 620 CKRM Radio in July.
