Our latest Java Post Aerial Photography UAV under construction.

The latest unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV a.k.a. "drone") in the Java Post Aerial Photography squadron - a DJI Matrice 600 - has arrived and is currently under construction.
Our UAV technician, Trevor, is once again wishing that these UAVs arrived fully assembled but, as you can see, his wishes are for naught. There is always a lot of work involved between opening the shipping box and making the first flight.
And besides, as much as he may not want to admit it, we think Trevor is at his happiest when he's surrounded by new UAV parts and grumbling into the pages of an assembly manual.

Our new DJI Matrice 600 UAV, flipped on its back and awaiting the installation of the landing gear.
It's standing on it's own two legs now, but there is still a lot of assembly yet to be done.
It's a big bird. From propeller tip to propeller tip, the latest edition to the Java Post Aerial Photography squadron of UAVs is 1.67 metres (5 and a half feet) across.
