Java Post Production recently completed a third animated commercial for CUPE Saskatchewan, entitled "Scenery." This is a continuation of the animation style previously established in the first two commercials.

An extra challenge for Java Post animators Kevin Drysdale and Tomás Ibar was that the animated characters were not just going to be walking or running but, as you can see in the screen captures below, were now going to be skiing and skating, too. Plus there was a dog to animate (4 legs instead of just 2, with joints that articulate quite differently than a human leg).

In the end, the commercial is a bright, fast-paced piece of animation. Click on the "Watch" button to view the finished spot.
