What's New At Java

All ashore that's lunching ashore! Fresh fish for clients and crew on the Tourism Saskatchewan shoot.

Frederick the Great and Napoleon are both credited with saying "An army marches on its stomach." If you ask us, that's a very strange way to attack an enemy. But maybe the enemy never sees you coming because you're flat on your stomach. Genius! Oh those clever military types.

We know this for sure: a production crew may not march on its stomach, but it will virtually leap over you to get to lunch.

Especially when it's a delicious shore lunch of fresh-caught fish, cooked by our expert guides from the Twin Falls Lodge.

There's a sight for hungry eyes. From river to plate in mere minutes.

Fresh fish and fries...we think our guides have some experience in feeding hungry tourists (and production crews). The two rules for feeding production crew members are to make sure there is a lot of it, whatever you're serving...and always keep your hands away from their plates while they're eating unless you want to risk losing a finger.

Oh, and also leap out of the way when you say "come and get it!"

Dunstin Panko of Phoenix Group patiently waited until the first mad rush was over, because he's seen our crew eat before. Smart guy.

Out in the beautiful woods of northern Saskatchewan, sunlight shining through the pines, fresh fish for lunch...yup, this Tourism Saskatchewan commercial production has its moments.

And here's some of the gang just finishing up those last few delicious bites. Now...who's ready for a quiet nap in the fresh air and sunshine?
